Love Them & Let Them Go

I wrote this song as I remembered my first year of teaching. I taught 1,500 kids in five schools in Ottawa Kansas. I'll never forget my time with them and I'll never forget how it felt to know some of them were moving on to grades and classrooms I didn't teach. I knew I'd miss these crazy and wonderful kiddos and I had to learn that over and over I'd have to love them and let them go.
